Your responsibilities as Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d) you are part of an agile, cross-functional development team and work on high-performance and scalable features in the area of supply chain management that ensure efficient business processes with our customers' suppliers worldwide.
  • You will be responsible for planning, designing and implementing automated GUI and interface tests as well as load and performance tests of complex microservice application structures.
  • For this, you will select appropriate test methods and tools along the agile development process.
  • By continuously retrospecting existing tests and frameworks, you identify optimization measures and implement them on your own responsibility.
  • With your expertise, you actively contribute to the establishment of agile testing and test-driven development within the Scrum teams.

What makes you stand out as Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

  • You are enthusiastic about modern, test-driven software development and have several years of project experience in the area of software quality assurance.
  • You are an expert in the design and execution of software tests and the application of suitable test methods.
  • Furthermore, you have profound experience in automating tests with common tools such as Teamcity, HP ALM, Selenium, JUnit, JMeter or Loadrunner.
  • You are proficient in scripting/programming languages such as Java, Go, Python or Shellscript.
  • Ideally, you have had hands-on experience with Continuous Integration servers like Jenkins or DevOps applications like Gitlab as well as creating pipelines. Experience with MS Azure and the use of OpenShift is also an advantage.
  • You have an agile mindset and work in a team in a self-organized manner - a structured and solution-oriented approach, team spirit and willingness to learn should also be a matter of course for you.
  • Your English skills are excellent, knowledge of German is an advantage.
