What you will do
As a Technical Product Owner, you will be the technical counterpart for an internal System Team working in a scaled development environment. You will drive technical initiatives, prioritize platform-related work and enable cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys solving complex challenges, collaborating across organizational boundaries and continuously improving technical platforms, engineering practices and ways of working.
- Own and prioritize the Product Backlog for the System Team.
- Plan and facilitate PI Planning, Story Refinements and other Agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine technical requirements and define implementation approaches.
- Coordinate technical initiatives across Engineering, DevOps, IT and external implementation partners.
- Drive infrastructure, platform and cross-team initiatives while managing technical dependencies across Agile teams.
- Analyze technical challenges and coordinate their resolution with the responsible teams.
- Facilitate technical workshops and foster collaboration between technical and business stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering practices, technical processes and team collaboration.
- Balance short-term delivery priorities with the long-term sustainability and evolution of the platform.
What you should bring
- Several years of experience in software development, application management or a similar technical role.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, cloud technologies, infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical topics and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on attitude with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
- Excellent English and Hungarian communication skills, both written and spoken.
How we work
- A modern working environment with a high degree of autonomy and creative freedom
- Flexible working hours and hybrid working models
- Close collaboration within agile and cross-functional teams
- Strong focus on personal and professional development
- Clear leadership principles, dedicated learning formats, and continuous growth opportunities
- A culture that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Our environment is dynamic, our mindset clear: we think in impact, not in hierarchies.
We work across disciplines, continuously evolving our solutions together, and taking responsibility for what we do.
What unites us is the drive to make a difference. That’s why we create space – for independent work, new ideas, and both professional and personal growth.
At SupplyOn, development isn’t just possible – it’s part of who we are. Shaping and changing things is part of our everyday work.
You’re eager to contribute, think along, and co-create? Then SupplyOn is the right place for you.
What you can expect from us
At SupplyOn, you actively shape the company and bring your ideas to life. We offer development opportunities – within your team, through new roles, or across projects.
Our collaboration is built on trust, high professional standards, and mutual support. You’ll work with people who communicate openly, listen, and strive to get better together.
We provide guidance while giving you the freedom to find your own path.
What matters to us is what you bring – and what we create together.
Curious? Let’s Talk.
We believe that good collaboration starts with genuine dialogue.
That’s why we’ve designed our selection process so both sides can find out whether it’s the right fit – professionally and personally.
We usually get back to you within a few days.
Our process consists of three interviews – fair, transparent, and on equal footing. At least one is via video, two are usually in person.
This way, you’ll get to know not only us but also how we work on site.
Our process consists of three clearly structured interviews:
Initial Introduction (remote, approx. 30 minutes)
You’ll speak with our recruiting team. We’ll clarify initial questions, discuss expectations, and check whether our values and way of working align with your profile.
Technical Interview with Your Potential Manager
Here we go deeper. We want to understand how you work, what experience you bring, and how you tackle challenges. You’ll also gain insight into how we lead, make decisions, and collaborate.
Personal Meeting with the Team – Ideally On Site
You’ll meet colleagues you may work with in the future. It’s important to us that you get your own impression of our work environment, culture, and processes.
We conduct all interviews as equals – open, honest, and respectful.
You’ll have the space you need to ask questions and make a well-informed decision – just as we do.
