Your responsibilities as (Senior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)

As a DevOps Engineer, you will develop and operate the cloud infrastructure for our supply chain management services together with your colleagues in the DevOps team. 
  • You are responsible for the smooth and secure operation of our SupplyOn applications in cooperation with the development teams
  • You continuously develop our CI/CD environment and processes and support development teams in maintaining them independently
  • You pilot new technologies for our platform and make them available in our catalog as infrastructure as code
  • Monitoring the cloud landscape is also part of your tasks.
As a senior, you take on a special role model function within the team and help to promote the practical use of agile and DevOps principles as well as technical understanding. You define and establish strategies for the introduction of new technologies and the migration of existing applications. 

What makes you stand out as a (Senior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)

  • You have extensive experience in Microsoft Azure and know the ABCs of its standard services
  • You understand the operation of microservice-based applications and are familiar with Kubernetes
  • You are proficient in common standards such as Terraform, GIT and YAML
  • You have extensive practical experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • You are familiar with logging and monitoring infrastructure with the Prometheus/Grafana tools
  • You think agile and work self-organized in a team
  • A structured and solution-oriented way of working, team spirit and willingness to learn are also a matter of course for you
  • Your English skills are excellent, knowledge of German is desirable.
  • Bonus skill: You are familiar with Apache Kafka and know the best practices for its operation

About the process of getting to know each other:
We would like to get to know you comprehensively and therefore 2 to 3 introductory meetings with your future colleagues will take place. For these meetings we use telephone and video conferences and can thus guarantee a swift process. At least one of these meetings will usually take place at our office.
