Who we are and what we do
SupplyOn is the digital infrastructure for globally connected industries.
For more than 25 years, our platform has managed complex supply chains, connecting over 70 percent of the world’s leading industrial companies and ensuring that everything is in the right place at the right time.
Our shareholders are Bosch, Continental, Schaeffler, and ZF.
We drive digital transformation where it truly matters: in the real network. Technologically strong. Internationally connected.
We’re designing an AI landscape for intelligent, autonomous systems that support real-world business processes at scale. From semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to context-aware agents and multi-agent orchestration — you’ll be at the forefront of shaping how AI transforms enterprise software.
To drive this mission, we’re looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer (f/m/d) who combines AI vision with hands-on prototyping. You’ll work from our Hallbergmoos or Budapest office (hybrid) and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and product strategists.
What you will do
- Re-think processes: Based on your AI Experience, re-think current processes in an AI centric way. Provide guidance and prototype how to apply LLMs and agentic approaches to revolutionize current supply chain processes
- Evangelize AI capabilities: Provide guidance to other platform teams in terms of AI applications and LLM capabilities
- Develop scalable agent capabilities — from reasoning and task planning to tool use and long-term memory
- Shape the AI infrastructure layer that enables orchestration across services, APIs, and events
- Prototype and iterate on system components such as agent runtimes, orchestration logic, context storage, tool interfaces, and messaging layers
- Collaborate with platform teams to integrate your work into our enterprise-scale Azure environment
- Contribute to architecture and design guidelines for deploying LLM-based and agent-enhanced systems in production
- Stay ahead of the curve on frameworks, language models, design patterns, and other AI technologies — and help the team adopt the best-fitting ones
What you should bring
- Deep experience with AI/LLM system architecture, ideally with agentic or orchestrated workflows
- Proven experience designing LLM centric use cases and processes, ideally with agentic or orchestrated workflows
- Strong programming skills in Python and optionally C#/Java, and the ability to work across backend infrastructure and prototyping layers
- Familiarity with modern agent and orchestration frameworks, such as Semantic Kernel, N8N, AutoGen, LangGraph — or other frameworks or custom-built solutions
- Understanding of concepts like semantic search, vector data basis, RAG, tool calling, long-term memory, identity and role modeling, and execution planning
- State of the art knowledge about MCP (model context protocol) and multi-agent orchestration
- Experience working in Microsoft Azure environments (e.g. Azure AI Studio, Functions, Event Grid, Cosmos DB, AKS, Microsoft AI Search etc.) is a plus
- Strategic/architectural thinking and a modular mindset — you know how to design performant and effective systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to align teams and stakeholders around architectural direction
How we work
- A key role in defining and shaping the AI strategy at SupplyOn
- High autonomy and influence over architectural decisions, frameworks, and direction
- A leadership culture built on five core values: Innovation, Co-Creation, Long-Term Thinking, Customer Value, and Self-Development
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, developers, and AI specialists
- Strong focus on your personal and professional development, with targeted training, internal learning communities, and exciting challenges
- Flat hierarchies and short decision paths in an environment that values real impact
- Flexible working hours and hybrid models
Our environment is dynamic, our mindset clear: we think in impact, not in hierarchies.
We work across disciplines, continuously evolving our solutions together, and taking responsibility for what we do.
What unites us is the drive to make a difference. That’s why we create space – for independent work, new ideas, and both professional and personal growth.
At SupplyOn, development isn’t just possible – it’s part of who we are. Shaping and changing things is part of our everyday work.
You’re eager to contribute, think along, and co-create? Then SupplyOn is the right place for you.
What you can expect from us
At SupplyOn, you actively shape the company and bring your ideas to life. We offer development opportunities – within your team, through new roles, or across projects.
Our collaboration is built on trust, high professional standards, and mutual support. You’ll work with people who communicate openly, listen, and strive to get better together.
We provide guidance while giving you the freedom to find your own path.
What matters to us is what you bring – and what we create together.
Curious? Let’s Talk.
We believe that good collaboration starts with genuine dialogue.
That’s why we’ve designed our selection process so both sides can find out whether it’s the right fit – professionally and personally.
We usually get back to you within a few days.
Our process consists of three interviews – fair, transparent, and on equal footing. At least one is via video, two are usually in person.
This way, you’ll get to know not only us but also how we work on site.
Our process consists of three clearly structured interviews:
Initial Introduction (remote, approx. 30 minutes)
You’ll speak with our recruiting team. We’ll clarify initial questions, discuss expectations, and check whether our values and way of working align with your profile.
Technical Interview with Your Potential Manager
Here we go deeper. We want to understand how you work, what experience you bring, and how you tackle challenges. You’ll also gain insight into how we lead, make decisions, and collaborate.
Personal Meeting with the Team – Ideally On Site
You’ll meet colleagues you may work with in the future. It’s important to us that you get your own impression of our work environment, culture, and processes.
We conduct all interviews as equals – open, honest, and respectful.
You’ll have the space you need to ask questions and make a well-informed decision – just as we do.
