Your responsibilities as a Project Management Officer (f/m/d)

As a Project Management Officer, you will oversee EDI integration projects between SupplyOn’s SaaS platform and our clients’ trading partners. This full-time, permanent position involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time project delivery, and increasingly using AI-based tools to optimize project workflows. You’ll play a key role in enabling efficient, tech-enhanced supply chain integrations.

  • Project Coordination: Manage end-to-end EDI integration projects with clear planning, stakeholder alignment, and milestone tracking – own the plan and keep everyone moving.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track and ensure project progress, identify risks or delays early, and drive mitigation actions. Leverage automation and emerging AI to streamline routine reporting.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the central liaison for internal teams, clients and EDI providers. Facilitate regular meetings, align expectations, and manage changes. Be the hub.
  • Quality & Process Improvement: Ensure adherence to project management best practices and contribute to improving efficiency, scalability and consistency of projects. Raise the bar.
  • AI-Augmented Workflows: Use emerging AI assistance for status preparation, data analysis, task scheduling, and more – help shape how the organization adopts AI in project delivery.

What sets you apart as a Project Management Officer (f/m/d)

  • Experience: 2+ years in a PMO or project-portfolio coordination role, steering a high-volume stream of similar projects. Proven skill in portfolio-level status tracking, milestone & risk monitoring, and executive reporting. Background in EDI or system-integration environments is a strong plus.
  • Project Management Skills: Solid knowledge of PM methodologies and tools; relevant certification is a plus.
  • Communication & Organization: Strong organizational and communication skills; comfortable managing multiple priorities and translating technical updates for varied audiences.
  • Tech & AI Affinity: Curious and open to exploring new technologies, particularly digital tools and AI assistants. Previous hands-on AI experience is an advantage but not required.
  • Languages: Fluent in English. German or French are a bonus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Background in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
  • Team Orientation: Collaborative mindset, adaptable to change, and enthusiastic about contributing to a positive team environment and continuous improvement.
