SupplyOn is the digital infrastructure for globally connected industries.
For more than 25 years, our platform has managed complex supply chains, connecting over 70 percent of the world’s leading industrial companies and ensuring that everything is in the right place at the right time.
Our shareholders are Bosch, AUMOVIO, Schaeffler, and ZF.
We drive digital transformation where it truly matters: in the real network. Technologically strong. Internationally connected.

Our SupplyOn team, made up of many talented individuals, is growing with new challenges, employees, and development opportunities. To drive innovation and digitalization forward together, we are looking for a Network & Security Expert (f/m/d) – Enterprise Networking, Architecture, Security & Automation to join us immediately in our Budapest office - Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)

Together, we want to make a real impact. Do you? Then we look forward to welcoming you as part of our team!

What you will do

To achieve our ambitious goals and shape the technological future, we are looking for an experienced network expert (f/m/d) who, after a structured onboarding phase, will gradually take on overall responsibility for our hybrid network landscape.

We are not looking for a purely hands-on administrator role, but rather a technically skilled individual with strategic vision. You combine architecture, governance, and technical quality, and actively drive the further development of our network infrastructure.

  • Architecture & Strategy: You further develop our network and security architectures conceptually, incorporating established technologies such as SDN, WAF, and CDN.
  • Technical Responsibility: You take overall technical responsibility for our enterprise network environment and work closely with our hosting partner.
  • Governance & Quality: You are responsible for the review and quality assurance of changes, configurations, and security measures to ensure stability and compliance.
  • Automation: You manage and specify system adjustments with a focus on automation, e.g., using Terraform.
  • Operations & Optimization: You configure and maintain our public domain name servers and are responsible for certificate management throughout the entire lifecycle.
  • Consulting & Support: You advise internal departments and agile teams on network and security topics in a clear, solution-oriented, and collaborative manner.
  • Project Management: You lead internal and external projects in the network and security environment.
  • Incident Management: You analyze network issues and develop sustainable solutions together with external service providers.
  • Documentation: You create and maintain meaningful documentation and reports.

What you should bring

  • You have solid experience in enterprise networking, ideally in hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • You possess very good knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g., Checkpoint or Cisco) as well as load balancing and web application firewall solutions (e.g., F5 Big-IP).
  • Ideally, you have experience with content delivery networks (CDN), software-defined networking (SDN), and networking technologies of hyperscalers – preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • You bring hands-on experience with automation technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or comparable Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • You have experience in leading IT projects and managing external service providers.
  • Knowledge of certificate management completes your technical profile.
  • You stand out through strong conceptual thinking, team orientation, and clear communication, even when dealing with complex topics.
  • You have very good English language skills, both written and spoken. German language skills is a plus

How we work

  • A fantastic, motivated team eager to shape the future of AI with you.
  • A working environment with a high degree of autonomy and creative freedom.
  • Flexible working hours? We are happy to support that!
  • Personal and professional development is very important to us and we strongly encourage it. You can find out more about our development prospects and benefits on our career pages.
  • As an employer, you can expect clear leadership values, special leadership training and learning units from us.

Our environment is dynamic, our mindset clear: we think in impact, not in hierarchies. We work across disciplines, continuously evolving our solutions together, and taking responsibility for what we do. What unites us is the drive to make a difference. That’s why we create space – for independent work, new ideas, and both professional and personal growth. At SupplyOn, development isn’t just possible – it’s part of who we are. Shaping and changing things is part of our everyday work.
You’re eager to contribute, think along, and co-create? Then SupplyOn is the right place for you.

What you can expect from us

At SupplyOn, you actively shape the company and bring your ideas to life. We offer development opportunities – within your team, through new roles, or across projects.
Our collaboration is built on trust, high professional standards, and mutual support. You’ll work with people who communicate openly, listen, and strive to get better together.
We provide guidance while giving you the freedom to find your own path.
What matters to us is what you bring – and what we create together.

Curious? Let’s Talk.

We believe that good collaboration starts with genuine dialogue.
That’s why we’ve designed our selection process so both sides can find out whether it’s the right fit – professionally and personally.
We usually get back to you within a few days.
Our process consists of three interviews – fair, transparent, and on equal footing. At least one is via video, two are usually in person.
This way, you’ll get to know not only us but also how we work on site.
Our process consists of three clearly structured interviews:

Initial Introduction (remote, approx. 30 minutes)
You’ll speak with our recruiting team. We’ll clarify initial questions, discuss expectations, and check whether our values and way of working align with your profile.

Technical Interview with Your Potential Manager
Here we go deeper. We want to understand how you work, what experience you bring, and how you tackle challenges. You’ll also gain insight into how we lead, make decisions, and collaborate.

Personal Meeting with the Team – Ideally On Site
You’ll meet colleagues you may work with in the future. It’s important to us that you get your own impression of our work environment, culture, and processes.

We conduct all interviews as equals – open, honest, and respectful.
You’ll have the space you need to ask questions and make a well-informed decision – just as we do.
