Your responsibilities as a Junior Scrum Master (f/m/d)

As a Junior Scrum Master, you will support development teams composed of individuals from several cultural backgrounds, including external partners and internal product roles. While we are structured according to the SAFe framework, our teams are on their journey toward full agility and responsibility for their applications. You will contribute to this transition with guidance from experienced colleagues.

  • Support one or more agile development teams within our SAFe Agile Release Train.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives under guidance.
  • Encourage a culture of feedback, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Assist Product Owners in maintaining and refining the team backlog.
  • Help identify and communicate team-level impediments to experienced Scrum Masters or management for resolution.
  • Observe team workflows and tools, proposing small improvements or simplifications.
  • Promote self-organization and intercultural collaboration within multinational teams.
  • Collaborate closely with other Scrum Masters to align agile practices across the Agile Release Train.

What sets you apart as a Junior Scrum Master (f/m/d)

  • Some hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile role (e.g. through internships, working student roles, or 1-2 years of professional experience).
  • Basic understanding of agile principles and frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
  • Motivation to learn and grow into a broader coaching role over time.
  • Willingness to develop facilitation and coaching skills under guidance.
  • Interest in the software development lifecycle and team collaboration tools.
  • Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a pragmatic attitude toward change.
  • Fluency in English (German is a plus).

Let's get to know each other!
We focus on real dialogue! We want to get to know you as a person and understand what is important to you. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to put us to the test.

Our introductory process consists of three interviews:
First interview (30 minutes): Together with our recruiting team, we clarify initial questions, talk about expectations and check whether we are a good cultural fit.
Two further interviews: Here you will get to know your potential manager and future team colleagues. At least one of these interviews will take place on site so that you can get a first-hand impression of our working environment and our teams.

All our interviews are conducted on an equal footing. We want you to feel comfortable and have enough time to ask questions.
We look forward to meeting you! What questions do you have?
