Your responsibilities as DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

As DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) you will develop and operate the infrastructure for our cloud services in the area of supply chain management. Our focus is on a modern, cloud-native technology stack based on Kubernetes (OpenShift), GitLab, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki and much more.
  • Together with your colleagues from the DevOps team, you will be responsible for the smooth and secure operation of the applications.
  • Monitoring the landscape is also one of your tasks. The goal is to provide a highly available, scalable and easy-to-use platform for the development teams.
  • You support us in continuously developing and implementing our CI/CD environment and processes.
  • You define and establish strategies for backup and disaster recovery.
  • As a senior, you take on a special role model function within the team and help to drive the practicable use of agile and DevOps principles and promote technical know-how.
  • You will ensure effective collaboration with our parent company's development and operations teams.

What makes you stand out as a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

  • You have deep knowledge in running microservices-based cloud services and are a Kubernetes expert.
  • You have several years of hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and logging and monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana.
  • You are also proficient in common tools/languages such as Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
  • You are able to act as a role model to develop and advance a team with an agile mindset and self-determined way of working.
  • You have an agile mindset and work in a team in a self-organized way - a structured and solution-oriented way of working, team spirit and willingness to learn should also be a matter of course for you.
  • Your English skills are excellent, knowledge of German is desirable.
